I am a Colorado Native, born and raised in Denver and attended Kennedy High School. I came to know Jesus as my personal Savior in September 1998. My first Koinonia weekend was K-76, in October 1998 and I have had the blessing of being involved in both the Denver Koinonia and Southern Colorado Koinonia communities by serving on the continuance boards and serving on weekends. I have been married to my wonderful husband Jim for over 17 years and we fellowship with our church family at Horizon Christian Fellowship. I have worked at US Bank for almost 40 years and I’m currently working as a Mortgage Loan Assistant. I am forever thankful to Jesus for saving me from the bondage of my abuse, addictions, insecurities, sin, flesh, past, unforgiveness, Satan’s strongholds and so much more! It is my passion to see others find the same Freedom in Christ and Praise the Lord, one of the avenues He has used to facilitate setting His children free is our Koinonia community and ministry.

I attend church at Calvary Chapel Aurora. My first Koinonia weekend was K-118 which helped me grow in my relationship with Christ and allowed me to experience Christian fellowship on a level which I had never experienced before. I look forward to serving on the board and am excited to see how God will use me through this opportunity.
Elaine J. - Spiritual Director
My 1st Koinonia weekend was May 14-16, 2004. At a very difficult time in my life, God brought me to a new family. A family and community of believers that would walk beside me through what was to be even more difficult journeys. I have served on many Koinonia weekends and was the Layleader in October 2019 for K-126.
I have for grandkids who range from ages 16 years to 4 months old. They are the love of my life and have blessed my life beyond words. After them as my number one passion, I have a deep compassion for the "outcasts", as I fondly refer to them as....because I have been one, and at times still feel like one.
I am also involved with Freedom in Christ Jail Ministry, Jesus on Colfax and Mean Street Ministries, which are all wonderful ministries that reach out to the marginalized, the incarcerated, and the forgotten. My home church is Colorado Community and I serve on the Prayer and Healing Team, also the Jail Ministry and Outreach. I am an ordained minister of 4 years through David Clifton Ministries.
I refer to myself as the "Granola Girl", growing up in Eugene Oregon, and as one who marches to a different drummer. I enjoy being outside rather than inside, artsy stuff and echiladas. It took me along get here, but I actually like myself and am thankful to God's continued pursuit and healing of my heart. My favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 3:5,6....I pray it everyday!

I am a dearly loved special child of God. Mark's Helpmate, mother of three gifted adult children and a blessed grandmother of five children. I was born in Utah and raised in Colorado. I received Jesus when I was 12 years old but didn't come to know my Redeemer until I nearly 40. I recently graduated from Colorado Christian University with a Master's Degree in Clinical counseling. My passion is to share with wounded children of God that their past does NOT define who they are but The Creator of the Universe their Abba Father defines who they are. My hobbies are cooking, gardening, playing board games, traveling, and gathering people to celebrate what Our Father is doing in their lives. My daily goal is to be a Bright Light and make a difference in the Kingdom of God.

Native Californian. I'm a proud son of a 20 year Navy Veteran. My father served as a Machinist Mate Chief on what are now Historic Aircraft Carriers inside the engine rooms and just like my father, there aren't too many things that I can't repair. I am married to the love of my life Linda after we became friends serving together in Koinonia 17 years ago. God moved in my life when I was 10 years old by revealing a personal invitation from Jesus in the book of John chapter 14:1-4. I understood exactly what I was reading and said, "That's for me!" Of course, learning how to walk in that promise took years of rebellion but His Word did not return void.
Mark F. - Pre-K

I am a Colorado native, born in Kremmling. I am the mother of 3, grandmother of 5 and great-grandmother of 2. Graduating from Kennedy High School I pursued a career in Medical Technology. I worked at Swedish Medical Center and several Centura Hospitals over the next 38 years.
Upon retirement in 2013 I began looking for a property outside of Denver (tired of big city life and traffic!). In 2017, after a lot of prayer the Lord blessed me with a small farm in Manzanola. The farm has 2 houses, a barn, workshop, 3 water sources, goats and chickens, and PEACE and Quite! My son is tending the farm while I am in Denver taking care of my 92 year old mother with dementia (a long time Koinonian) and my mentally challenged sister.
I was fortunate to have very strong Christian parents and grew up in church as long ago as I can remember. I am a member of Saint James Presbyterian Church in Littleton and attend Faith Baptist in Fowler when on the farm.
I attended K-37 in November 1986. I have served on both the Colorado and Southern Colorado boards in many different positions. I was Lay-leader for K-51 and SCK-15. I have been blessed to serve on teams in Colorado, Southern Colorado, Western Colorado, New Mexico and Texas Koinonias. Six years ago I attended Colorado Presbyterian Pilgrimage a 4 day retreat patterned after the Catholic Crusillo. I will be moderator for CCP-33 in the spring of 2023.
I Thank our awesome God for all the opportunities we have to be a part of Christian community and that he calls us to serve his Kingdom. Where is he calling you?
