Jim A. - Chairperson
Native Californian. I'm a proud son of a 20 year Navy Veteran. My father served as a Machinist Mate Chief on what are now Historic Aircraft Carriers inside the engine rooms and just like my father, there aren't too many things that I can't repair. I am married to the love of my life Linda after we became friends serving together in Koinonia 19 years ago. God moved in my life when I was 10 years old by revealing a personal invitation from Jesus in the book of John chapter 14:1-4. I understood exactly what I was reading and said, "That's for me!" Of course, learning how to walk in that promise took years of rebellion but His Word did not return void. My first Koinonia Weekend was K-84 in May of 2001 and I have been blessed to serve in both Denver Koinonia and Southern Colorado Koinonia on several weekends and on the Continuance Boards.

I am a Colorado Native, born and raised in Denver and attended Kennedy High School. I came to know Jesus as my personal Savior on September 20, 1998. My first Koinonia weekend was K-76, in October 1998 and I have had the blessing of being involved in both the Denver Koinonia and Southern Colorado Koinonia communities by serving on the continuance boards and retreat weekends. I met my wonderful husband, Jim in Koinonia and we have been married for over 19 years. We fellowship and serve with our church family, Horizon Christian Fellowship in Littleton. I have worked at US Bank for over 41 years and I’m currently working in the Commercial Loan area. I am forever thankful to Jesus for saving me from the bondage of my abuse, addictions, insecurities, sin, flesh, past, unforgiveness, Satan’s strongholds and so much more! It is my passion to see others find the same Freedom in Christ and Praise the Lord, one of the avenues He has used to facilitate setting His children free is our Koinonia community and ministry.
